MISSIONAL COMMUNITIES
Missional Communities (MCs) take on various forms as groups of 5-15 persons and/or families who have a passion for being an extended family on mission bringing Christ’s Kingdom to disciple people in a specific neighborhood or relational network. They seek to live out their faith together in God (Witness), with one another (Life Together), and in their missional context (Mercy).
Each participant is invited to serve in ways that fit their unique schedules, gifts and interests. There is no cookie cutter – everyone does the same thing/way approach. As an extended family on mission, everyone learns and grows from each other’s unique contributions and experiences.

Trinity's Missional Communities
College Student Ministry:
Our extended family on mission is committed to discipling college-age adults with the love and care of Jesus. We want to be the family of God who will unconditionally stick by them during these challenging and defining years.
Rauch MC:
Our family on mission is walking alongside the folks who operate the Empower Life Center in Peoria, Illinois. We wish to provide prayer, hands-on physical support of their facility and presence with people as needed.
Food Pantry:
Our extended family on mission provides once-per-month food distribution on the third Monday from 9 to noon for families in the 61606 zip code and in Trinity’s congregation.
Trinity Women in Mission (LWML):
Our extended family on mission encourages women in the study of God’s Word, to support missions around the world, to look for opportunities to make a meaningful difference in the lives of hurting, helpless, and unbelieving people at home and throughout the world and to intentionally look for opportunities to welcome the women in our lives to grown in faith and relationships as sisters in Christ.
Braille:
For more than 50 years Trinity members and friends have been processing Braille here at church. We have produced the Lutheran Witness, the LWML Quarterly, and calendars, as well as other publications that are sent throughout the world.
